Title: Contract Cardiac Sonographer

Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week contract opportunity in Fresno, CA. The Cardiac Sonographer will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images of the heart and related structures.
- Analyze echocardiographic images for quality and diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate documentation of findings.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide patient care.
Requirements:
- ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Proficiency in performing transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Current BLS certification.
